Packaging Suite - Redesign and Expansion
Redesign of Bluestone’s iconic coffee bag packaging to include the launch of 6 new SKUs including the expansion to eco-friendly Nespresso©-compatible coffee capsules. Inspired by Australia’s beautiful shorelines and coastal cities, the new packing suite pays homage to the original while giving the family a refreshing contemporary update.

Originally a 2-SKU selection—a filter and espresso blend—the new family expanded with the addition of a blonde roast and a dark roast.
The color-way adds two new colors to the mix: a dark blue, representing the deep ocean waters, and a light beige, signifying the warm sandy beaches. This color gradient throughout the roast selection mirrors the colors of a shoreline coordinated with the strength of the blends.
We also added a whole new line of products—eco-friendly biodegradable home-compostable Nespresso©-compatible coffee capsules. I designed these products to go hand-in-hand with the main whole bean line.
The launch campaign and marketing focused on the versatility and personality of each flavor. Targeting those who live a more fast-paced life, it focused on pairing each flavor with a different lifestyle and time of day with the goal of encouraging people to view their coffee differently.
